China SARS since, onward Corona Virus COVID-19
Reminding 2002-2003 years when SARS epidemic appeared in China, the focus of infection was Guangdong Province, southern location where Chinese people like to eat a small civet, this is a typical mammal of East-Asia. The expert said the virus coming from this animal to the human, so from the beginning the experts declared the origin of the disease; but the Corona Virus they still do not know, and nowadays this virus is showing, in spite to be less lethal, to be more difficult to detect it, that is why there is more death so far compare to SARS time. Have we learned from SARS?
Historical data reflect that most of epidemic around the world is a consequences of lack of sanitary conditions with the easy dissemination and transporting of the pathogens. The animals and human can be good vehicles of transportation of diseases, some examples bubonic plague was transmitted by rats or dengue disease by mosquito, and Wuhan city in China gathered all conditions to appear epidemic.
This city located in the middle of China, ancient times since was transit among different population centers, ethnic groups for commercial purpose and something else. Nevertheless, it is known that on the beginning of 21 century Chinese government decided to move the metallurgy sector from Shanghai to center of China, it was a part of the project of the authorities to develop the country and making balance among different zone, because the economical develop in China started from east to inner, all these aspect is part of Chinese National Plan.
The peaceful human migration can be individual or collective, in China case of the internal migration is a consequence of the fast economic develop of east, and the lowest of the west and in general the rest of the country. Too much people move in China due to get better income to maintain their families, these people are about 200 hundreds million migrant workers.
So, the last ten years Wuhan has experienced excellent economic growth, a lot of companies moved over, also from government side is making enormous effort with the infrastructure investment such as subway, rails to the new magnetic train system, highway, malls centers, and so on. As a consequence, the migration from different parts of China, and also from different countries to settle business were a lot. This city is having the same situation of the east China many years ago. However, migration without control could be a big problem when the amount of people living together is huge.
Then, the conditions to arise the epidemic was on the table, before Chinese new year the population use to return their hometown for the family reunion. Most of the trains have to pass through Wuhan, it does not matter from which part of China is coming from, every migrant worker has passed it through Wuhan, because of the location of this city. This is the largest migration in the world.
In my thinking, the Chinese authorities could take some decision in the middle of autumn of 2019, there is a lot of monitoring device to check a possible situation. For example, Wuhan city like every capital province in China has camera technology system, and too much data to prevent some events. But, we can check the BBC world news February 4, a Chinese medical doctor in Wuhan died due of Corona virus, he was infected on the end of December, he talked to his friends about the virus in local social media, and he was obligate to retract of his words by the authorities.
Finally, managing this kind of situation is not easy for Chinese government, and we know they want to overcome it. We hope they make good agreement with World Health Organization, and then find out the vaccine as soon as possible for the goodness of the world.
